Domestic Violence Presentation at The West End Community Center

The West End Community Center is opening its doors to the community to attend a presentation by Interval House at 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 26th. Interval House, an organization founded in 1977, has made a positive difference in the lives of nearly 150,000 women and children who experience psychological and physical abuse at the hand of a domestic or intimate partner. The Presentation will include:
-Key points about Domestic Violence, such as how to spot signs that someone is being abused, what to do to help a victim, and how domestic violence destroys families from one generation to another
-Testimony from a former victim who received help from Interval House
-A Brief Question and Answer session
-There will be a light lunch served preceding the seminar at 12pm
