All of Hands On Hartford’s services rely on the generous donations of individuals like you!

Financial Contributions

Hands On Hartford accepts gifts of cash or stock in any amount. If you would like to donate by check, please mail it to our main office at 55 Bartholomew Avenue, Hartford, CT 06106. Donations can also be made online through our website (through Network for Good).

In Kind donations

Donations of non-expired food or other items also greatly appreciated. These items are essential to our programs’ operations! Items can be dropped off at our Center for Community at 55 Bartholomew Avenue, Hartford, CT 06106. Items can be dropped off Monday-Friday 9am-4:30pm. We can accept items any time, day or night, most days of the year, please just notify us ahead of time by calling 860-728-3201.

HOH always welcomes the following donations for our programs and feel free to contact us about the most needed items at the time of your donation:

Community Pantry:

  • Cereal
  • Canned Fruit
  • Canned Vegetables
  • Oatmeal
  • Pancake Mix & Syrup
  • Canned Beans
  • Rice (preferably white)
  • Pasta (preferably white)
  • Pasta Sauce
  • Canned Soup and Stews (especially light or low sodium varieties

We can accept full sized unopened toiletry items:
